I collect two things: what you type into the contact form, and aggregate traffic numbers from Google Analytics. I do not sell anything, I do not run ad trackers, and there is no account to create. If you want your data gone, ask and it is gone.
3 First Names is a trade name of Beau Jeffrey LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company based in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. This policy covers 3firstnames.io and nothing else.
It is one person running a consulting business, so this policy says “I” rather than “we.” That is accurate, not casual.
When you fill out the contact form. Your name, your email address, and whatever you write in the message box. Nothing makes you fill out the form. The name and email fields are required if you do.
When you book a call. The scheduling link goes to Google’s appointment scheduling. Google collects your name, email, and the time you picked, then puts the event on my calendar. Whatever you type into Google’s booking form is handled under Google’s privacy policy before it ever reaches me.
When you just visit. Google Analytics records the pages you viewed, roughly how long you stayed, what site sent you here, your browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. It is aggregate traffic data. It does not tell me who you are.
What I do not collect. No payments, because nothing is sold on this site. No accounts, because there is nothing to log into. No newsletter list. No advertising or retargeting pixels of any kind: there is no Meta pixel and no LinkedIn Insight Tag on this site. If that changes, this page changes with it.
The contact form exists so I can write back to you. That is its entire purpose. I do not add people who contact me to a mailing list.
The analytics exist so I know whether anybody is reading the site and which pages are worth keeping. I look at totals, not at individuals.
Every company below is a real processor with real access. Naming them is the point.
Hosts the site, stores contact form submissions, and serves the CSS and JavaScript. The site is built and hosted on Webflow.
Traffic and behavior data, so I know whether the site works. Property G-21ED6FJS7X.
Loads the analytics tag. Container GTM-NBJP8HRB.
Your name, email, and meeting time when you book a call through the scheduling link.
Your IP address, disclosed to Google when the page loads its typefaces.
Your IP address, when it serves a standard JavaScript library on Webflow’s behalf.
I do not sell your data. I do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. I do not trade it. The only situation where I would hand any of it over is a valid legal demand, and I would tell you if I were permitted to.
The site sets exactly two cookies, both from Google Analytics: _ga and _ga_21ED6FJS7X. They distinguish one visitor from another so the traffic count is not nonsense. They contain a random identifier, not your name.
There is no cookie consent banner, and those cookies are set as soon as the page loads. That is worth saying plainly rather than burying. If you would rather not be counted, any of these work:
Blocking them costs you nothing. The site works exactly the same.
Contact form submissions. Until you ask me to delete them, or until the conversation is clearly over and I clean house. I need the thread to reply and to remember the context of a conversation.
Calendar entries for booked calls. Kept as ordinary business records, the same as any meeting on a calendar.
Google Analytics data. Google deletes it automatically after 14 months. For user-level data the clock restarts if the same visitor comes back.
I am not running a data warehouse. If you contacted me two years ago and want that gone, say so.
Laws like the GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act, and the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act set thresholds on revenue and volume that a business this size almost certainly does not meet, so most of them probably do not apply to me by their own terms. I am not going to hide behind that. This policy is designed to address the substance of those requirements regardless.
Whoever and wherever you are, you can ask me to:
Ask, and I will handle it within 30 days. I will not treat you differently for asking, and there is nothing to charge you for.
This site is for people hiring a consultant. It is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13. If you believe a child sent me something through this site, tell me and I will delete it.
The site runs over HTTPS. Form submissions sit inside Webflow’s platform and my email, both behind multi-factor authentication. Access is limited to one person, because there is only one person.
No system is perfectly secure, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. If I ever discover a breach affecting your personal information, I will tell you promptly.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the “Last updated” date at the top changes and the new version goes up here. Adding a tool that collects something new counts as mattering.
Questions about this policy, or a request about your data: use the contact form, or email privacy@3firstnames.io.
